Dr. Zachary Peacock Appointed as Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

After a nationwide search, Zachary Peacock, DMD04, has been named Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) and Massachusetts General Hospital’s (MGH) Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In his new role, Dr. Peacock will lead all aspects of the clinical practice and OMFS advanced graduate educational programs at MGH and HSDM. His appointment is effective immediately.

Dr. Magda Feres, an internationally-recognized scholar who currently serves as dean for Dental Research and Graduate Education and chair of the advanced Graduate Program in Dentistry at Guarulhos University in Brazil, has been named to lead Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s (HSDM) Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity (OMII).
