Dr. Loreto Abusleme received a DDS degree (2009) and a Master’s in periodontology (2012) from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Chile. She then pursued a PhD in a combined program between the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research at the NIH (2013-2017), working at the laboratory of Dr. Niki Moutsopoulos (2013-2018).
