Drs. Aram Kim and Supattriya Chutinan, instructors in Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences, were recently recognized for their work as teachers and mentors. Kim and Chutinan received this year's Young Mentor Award, an award that recognizes Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Harvard Medical School faculty in the early stages of their career, who devote their time to mentoring others.

The Harvard Longwood Campus (HMS, Harvard Chan School and HSDM) is ushering in the 2017-2018 Season of Giving by providing employees with an opportunity to attend an inspirational talk, to share messages of appreciation with one another, and to help our local neighbors through voluntary food, toy and clothing drives.
The Harvard Longwood Campus community is helping families in need by participating in the Phillips Brooks House holiday gift drive. The goal is to provide books, games, toys, art supplies and sports equipment to children in need. Faculty, staff and students are invited to donate new, unopened gifts for children of preschool through high-school age.
The Harvard Longwood Campus community will be hosting a food drive in collaboration with ABCD, a non-profit organization that provides to low income residents in the Greater Boston region. Well-marked donation boxes will be located throughout the three Longwood Campus schools. The boxes will be collected on the last day of the food drive.
