Zachary Scott Peacock
Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Zachary Peacock is a trained pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His clinical interests are in orthognathic surgery, pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, cleft lip and palate, and dentoalveolar surgery including dental implants. His research interests include orthognathic surgery and benign pathology of the maxillofacial region. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Peacock completed his undergraduate work at Michigan State University before receiving his DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He graduated summa cum laude, ranking first in his class. He then received his MD and completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Peacock then completed the Mass General Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship.
He is the chief of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mass General and the chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is also co-director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Center at Mass General for Children and Shriner's Hospital for Children - Boston.
