Shaikha K. AlDukhail, BDS, DMSc, joined Harvard School of Dental Medicine for her Doctoral degree, where she had extensive training in research design, qualitative and quantitative analysis. Currently she is working on designing, training and implementing a 10-year multimethods quasi-experimental longitudinal “lifestyle and social determinants of health” study on over 6000 -1st year college students with the department of Lifestyle and health research center in PNU, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

Shaikha received “The Community Service Postdoctoral Student Award” for overall achievement in public health and contribution to the field & 1st place in the 2020 AIDPH Colloquium Student Poster Contest. She is also an inaugural Misk fellow and part of a program that seeks to transform Saudi Arabia by developing a powerful network of leaders.

Fields of Interest

Dr. AlDukhail’s areas of interest include: The role of mass media communication in public health, barriers and enablers to healthy behaviors, vulnerable populations and health disparities, medical education and preferred learning styles.
