Bob Lewando is Executive Director, Specialty Benefits Professional Services, BCBSMA. Bob leads the Professional Relations component of their Dental Plan, including their clinical operations and network development. Bob has an interest in Medical Dental Integration and has helped develop programs at BCBSMA where members with chronic conditions receive expanded dental benefits to improve their overall health. Bob is chair of MDS Foundation, chair of the HSDM Initiative to Integrate Oral Health and Medicine, a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Certified Dental Consultant, and the BCBSA representative on the Code Committee of the ADA in the annual development of new CDT codes.
