As Associate Dean, Jody Johnson leads the Development and Alumni Relations team and oversees all fundraising, as well as alumni, donor, and corporate relations at HSDM. She works closely with HSDM leadership to develop effective strategies to lead strategic growth in support of the School’s mission and priorities.

Johnson has extensive experience securing major and principal gifts, leading development teams, programs and events, and recruiting volunteer leaders to bolster philanthropy for various organizations. Johnson began her career at Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences and has since focused her time on educational and healthcare organizations, including the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare, Bucknell University, and independent schools.
