Dr. Ignacio Pedrinaci is a research fellow at HSDM. Pedrinaci studied at the University of Granada (Spain) where he obtained his Master of Sciences and became a diplomate from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) after completing a three-year residency in “Periodontology and Implant dentistry “at the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) under the mentorship of Prof. Mariano Sanz.

He has been awarded with national and international grants in the educational and research fields, such as the “Oral Research Academy Grant” by the Osteology Foundation (Luzern, Switzerland), the Proclinic® funding for research & dental education (Madrid, Spain), and the 2021 ITI scholarship at the “Implant and Digital Dentistry” program at HSDM.

Dr. Pedrinaci is a current member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), the American Academy of Osseointegration (EAO), the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA) and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

Fields of interest: Dr. Pedrinaci actively participates in clinical and translational research related to implant dentistry and applied digital dental technologies, per-implant and periodontal diseases, and tooth autotransplantation.
