Chia-Cheng Li

 

Dr. Chia-Cheng Li is a lecturer on Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a research fellow in the Division of Genetics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Li received her DDS and MS degree in Oral Biology/Virology from National Yang-Ming University in Taiwan. She completed her postgraduate training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she received a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a DMSc degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Li is a board-certified oral pathologist both in the United States (Diplomate, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology) and in Taiwan. She is also a fellow in both the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and American Academy of Oral Medicine.

Fields of Interest

Dr. Li’s research interests focus on identifying novel genes in craniofacial development and investigating the behavior of oral cancer stem cells at the clonal level. In addition to her scientific research, Dr. Li dedicates her time to dental education and promotes the integration of basic science and clinical dentistry.
