Session Summary: The talk will introduce the emerging concept of bone as a multi-stem cell system and how cell intrinsic and extrinsic changes on the stem cell level drive local and systemic aging. It will also include a report on our recently discovered sex-specific, brain-derived, anabolic factor as a potential new anti-osteoporotic drug.
