Abstract: This session will focus on addressing whole person health through medical-dental integration. We will highlight examples of medical-dental integration in practice, specifically: the Boston Children’s Hospital pediatric primary care clinics, and the Foundational Continuity Clinic course at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. 

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe foundational elements of the Whole Health framework of care
  2. Understand how Medical-Dental Integration aligns with and support whole health care
  3. Describe benefits of Medical-Dental Integration
  4. Identify existing opportunities to foster Medical-Dental Integration in practice
