On Tuesday, March 7th at 12-noon in the REB Auditorium, HSDM will welcome Quincey J. Roberts, Sr. from the City of Boston Mayor’s Office for a conversation on LGBTQIA+ considerations in patient care. During this Lunch and Learn session, the HSDM Community can look forward to learning together as we participate in a discussion with a leader on LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Greta Spoering will join our speaker to discuss how we can further support efforts of fostering an inclusive culture for all who walk through our HSDM doors and clinics.

Quincey J. Roberts, Sr. is the inaugural Executive Director for the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement, which works to empower, protect and advance the rights, and dignity of all LGBTQ+ residents. He is charged with ensuring City Hall connects with and serves the needs of the LGBTQ+ community across all neighborhoods.

Greta Spoering, LICSW is the Associate Director of SHARE (Sexual Harassment Assault Resources & Education) within the Office for Gender Equity. The Office for Gender Equity uses a multi-pronged approach to addressing issues of sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct, ranging from designing and implementing prevention and education programs to providing individualized supports. SHARE Counselors provide a confidential space for the entire Harvard community.
