Join us for the 2023 Donald B. Giddon Lecture in Behavioral Medicine and Dentistry with a keynote presentation on "The Secret Lives of Ancient Teeth: Development, Climate Change, and Human Evolution",  by Tanya Smith, PhD.

Dr. Tanya Smith is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow and a Professor in the Australian Research Centre for Human Evolution and the Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research at Griffith University (Queensland, Australia). She previously held a professorship at Harvard University and fellowships at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. Smith's popular science book, The Tales Teeth Tell, was published by MIT Press in 2018.
