A study highlighted in Innovations in Clinical Neuroscience (April 2022) revealed that about 70% of gender minority adults and 56% of sexual minority adults have faced discrimination from healthcare providers. The National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center's Dr. Alex Keuroghlian will lead a discussion on the experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals within the medical system. This session offers the HSDM community an opportunity to learn and engage with a leader in LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Gain insights on how we can enhance our efforts in fostering an inclusive culture for all who come through our doors and clinics.
