ACDE Webinar Series: The Oral Systemic Connection

Abstract: The lecture is of two parts: the first part will cover the oral manifestations of systemic diseases and conditions this includes but not limited to nutritional, hematologic, metabolic, endocrine, gastro-intestinal, connective tissue, granulomatous, infectious, cutaneous, and drug induced manifestations. The second part of the lecture will cover the possible hypotheses of correlation between periodontal disease and systemic diseases and conditions and literature yet available. 

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the oral manifestations of systemic conditions.
2. The correclation of periodontal disease and system conditions.
