Abstract: 

Review, clarify and enhance techniques for the Posterior Superior Alveolar (PSA), Middle Superior Alveolar (MSA), Anterior Superior Alveolar (ASA), Greater Palatine (GP), Nasopalatine (NP), Anterior Middle Superior Alveolar (AMSA), Inferior Alveolar (IA) nerve blocks. 

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

Describe the insertion site, depth, target, and areas anesthetized for the following nerve blocks: 

  1. Posterior Superior Alveolar (PSA)
  2. Middle Superior Alveolar (MSA)
  3. Anterior Superior Alveolar (ASA)
  4. Greater Palatine (GP)
  5. Nasopalatine (NP)
  6. Anterior Middle Superior Alveolar (AMSA)
  7. Inferior Alveolar (IA)

Tuition: $59/1.5 ADA CERP credit hour
