Abstract: This presentation is aimed at general dentists as well as specialists. The objective is to give an overview of conditions that affect the TMJ and the masticatory muscles.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify anatomy of the TMJ
- Review the masticatory muscles
- Differential diagnosis: muscle vs. joint
- Diagnostic tests for each condition and management
- Diagnose the various presentations of TMD's and make appropriate referrals when indicated.
Tuition: $69/2 ADA CERP credit hours
