Abstract: The course will focus on the topic of soft tissue augmentation and periodontal plastic surgery. It is a commonly required procedure and over-treatment, or under-treatment is always a concern. The course will discuss diagnosis, indications, expectations and will present different treatment techniques and options with advantages and disadvantages.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Classify different types of recessions and soft tissue conditions
2. Understand the neccessity or not of periodontal plastic surgery and soft tissue grafting
3. Understand the different treatment options & the associated clinical procedures
4. Discuss the different perspectives of treatment around teeth and around implants
5. Understand and be able to communicate to the patient the different treatment expectations

Tuition: $69/2 ADA CERP credit hour
