Alec S. Eidelman, DMD, MPH, MEd received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Lafayette College and holds a DMD and MPH from Tufts University. After completing his one-year general practice residency (GPR) with the Cambridge Health Alliance and Harvard School of Dental Medicine he was selected to be the inaugural oral health teaching fellow at the Cambridge Health Alliance. During his two-year fellowship in teaching, he completed his dissertation exploring what communication skills are necessary for United States dental student graduates and received his Master of Medical Education and Certificate in Dental Education from the University of Dundee (Scotland). Dr. Eidelman as part of the Community Oral Health efforts at Cambridge Health Alliance has established integrated oral health access programs at CHA's Teen Health Centers at Malden High School and Somerville High School. In relation to his recent Oral Health Needs Assessment completed with Health Resources in Action (September, 2022) he is overseeing many of the systems and patient level oral health access and integration efforts across the organization. In addition to his teaching responsibilities to the Harvard Dental and Medical students in their practice of medicine course he is also the program director for the General Practice Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance.
