Pharmacy’s Future: A Look Back– What Dentistry Can Learn From Pharmacy’s Experience

This year's Professor Donald B. Giddon Annual Lecture in Behavioral Medicine and Dentistry will feature Daniel Zlott, PharmD, BCOP, vice president of Professional Education Resources at the American Pharmacists Association in Washington, D.C. Dr. Zlott currently serves as the VP of Professional Education Resources at APhA, where he oversees all of APhA’s education initiatives. Prior to joining APhA, he worked at the National Institutes of Health as a clinician and researcher. Zlott was an investigator on over 40 National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials, many focused on immune-based therapies for cancer. Zlott was the Director of the NIH Oncology Pharmacy Residency Program. He also served on the NCI IRB for 5 years. Zlott is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, and completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency there before joining the NIH.
