Abstract: Dental implant placements are a commonly utilized treatment modality for the replacement of missing teeth. Implant placement can either be done at the time of extraction or in later stages. However, when it comes to anterior teeth, there are additional aesthetic concerns during the healing period. Replacement of anterior teeth and interim restoration can be achieved in many ways, using a removable appliance or direct temporization on the implant. Guided surgical technique and 3D printing can also be utilized to achieve proper implant placement and aid in the convenience of direct immediate temporization. It is vital to be attentive to all phases of surgical and temporary stages to help achieve healthy, optimal aesthetic results.

Learning Objectives:
1) To learn proper management of anterior tooth replacement utilizing implants and temporization immediately following extraction and implant placement
2) To learn about indications and contraindications of this combined treatment option
