“The Doctor is Out: A Conversation with Dr. Mark Schuster on Being a Gay Physician at Harvard”

Join us for a conversation with Mark Schuster, MD, PhD. Dr. Schuster conducts groundbreaking research on child, adolescent, and family health issues, including quality of care, health disparities, adolescent sexual health, and family leave.  He described his experiences at Harvard Medical School and its teaching hospitals in a published speech, “On Being Gay in Medicine,” that went viral online and has been used as a teaching tool at medical schools.  He coauthored the book, Everything You Never Wanted Your Kids to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid They’d Ask), and has appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, ESPN, and NPR.  For more information about this dialogue and to register, please click here.
