Continuing Professional Education: Using Digital Planning in Assessing Outcomes of Maxillary Sinus Augmentation

Date:

Tuesday, September 13, 2022, 11:00am to 12:00pm

Location:

Webinar via Zoom

Speaker: Dr. Irina Dragan

Abstract: This session will highligh how to use digital implant planning and assess radiographic outcomes of maxillary sinus augmentation procedures (ideal bone graft, excess bone graft, and insufficient bone graft) in reference to three-dimensions prosthetic-driven implant placement.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the implant digital planning prior to maxillary sinus elevation and how it can facilitate a better understanding of the expected clinical result.
  2. Apply technologica advancements, so one can leverage not only reviewing the anatomy of the sinus but quantifying the precise amount of bone graft needed for an adequate site development for future implant placement.
  3. Highlight the collaboration of the interdisciplinary team, and the direct impact on the patient care: time of healing and the cost of the procedure.
