Color Coding Oral Mucosal Lesions

Abstract: A comprehensive head, neck and oral mucosal exam is of significant value to our patients. There are several clues one can derive from the visual characteristics of clinically discovered lesions; one of these being the color of the findings. Today's talk will be centered around the significance of these clues and its relation to the etiopathogenesis of the diagnoses.

Learning Objectives:

  1. You will be challenged to create your own differential diagnoses on clinical images
  2. You will have reviewed etiopathogenesis of common oral lesions - with an emphasis on the clinical clues that will guide your decision-making process
  3. You will have reviewed literature updates on the presented entities
