Tuesday, February 9, 2021, 10:00am to 11:00am

Location:

Zoom (your Zoom link will be emailed to you one day prior to the webinar)

Peri-implantitis treatments may not be considered as predictable as periodontal disease treatments, and not all patients are willing to accept surgical treatment options. Thus, dentists need to understand and offer potential non-surgical treatment options. In this presentation, clinical cases, didactic drawings and videos related to peri-implant disease cases with a long-term follow up will illustrate how to obtain an effective decontamination/detoxification of the contaminated dental implant surface with innovative materials for an antimicrobial approach. Non-surgical protocols that have been carefully formulated by Dr. Roncati will allow participants to maintain peri-implant tissue health and successfully treat mucositis and/or peri-implantitis.

1) Understand potential non-surgical treatment options for periodontal disease and peri-implant diseases. 2) Discuss peri-implant tissue health and how we can successfully treat mucositis and/or peri-implantitis.
