Oral Pathology Continuing Education Course

The HSDM Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity will be hosting an oral and maxillofacial pathology continuing education course in hematopathology of the head and neck, and a subsequent case exchange, on September 7 through 9, 2012. The meeting will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, located in Boston’s Back Bay district.

The course will consist of a seminar Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and a Sunday morning case exchange from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. This year, we are fortunate to be joined by two guest speakers for Saturday morning’s seminar. Dr. Nancy Lee Harris, professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School, and Dr. Judith Ferry, associate professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School, will present a collaborative lecture on hematopathology. This will include an overview of the WHO classification of lymphomas, as well as a detailed discussion of lymphoid proliferations and their light microscopic and immunohistochemical evaluation. For details of the presentations, please visit the program page.
