Honor for HSDM’s Tehrani
Abolghassem Tehrani, a clinical instructor in the HSDM Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity, was inducted as a fellow of the International College of Dentists at the annual meeting of the American Dental Association and International College of Dentists in New Orleans in November 2013. The International College of Dentists is the oldest and largest international honor society for dentists in the world. Established in 1928, the College has over 12,000 members, in 122 countries, who have been awarded the prestigious title of fellow. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only. A nominated dentist must pass a rigorous peer-review process leading to the recognition of the individual's "outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service and dedication to the continued progress of dentistry for the benefit of humankind."
