German Gallucci named Honorary Professor at the University of Buenos Aires

In an award ceremony held on October 22, 2015 at the University of Buenos Aires School of Dentistry in Argentina, Dr. German O. Gallucci, Raymond J. and Elva Pomfret Nagle Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, was named an honorary professor of the University of Buenos Aires.

Dr. Gallucci was selected for the honor based on his significant academic and scientific achievements and his global influence in the field of oral implantology.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Gallucci thanked the rector of the University of Buenos Aires, Dr. Alberto A. Barbieri, and the dean of the Dental School Dr. Hector Alvarez Cantoni, for the honorary distinction.

“This recognition is very gratifying and underscores my commitment to expand our global collaborative efforts in the pursuit of academic excellence,” he said.

The award ceremony was followed by a lecture given by Dr. Gallucci to an audience of more than 200 on the subject of modern implant prosthodontics.
