Risha M. De Leon, DMD
Dr. Risha M. De Leon received her DMD degree from the University of the Philippines and completed an Externship training with the Philippine Air Force and a Preceptorship in Basic Orthodontics at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies. She practiced dentistry in the Philippines in a private practice in Makati City and Dasmariñas, Cavite (Philippines) and worked with different non-government organizations managing oral health programs in various rural areas of the Philippines.
Dr. De Leon served as a general dentist in the Community Health Center of Franklin County (Turners Falls, MA) and the Desmond Callan Community Health Center (Orange, MA), and was a clinical instructor at the STI College Rosario in the Philippines. She currently serves as Senior Tutor for the Cannon Society at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Fields of Interest
Dr. De Leon’s area of interest is public health dentistry. She has been involved with oral health programs in different schools and communities in the Philippines. Her interest involves development and implementation of school-based and community oral health programs.
